Joey Eddins, a former EMT emergency medical technician in Pennsylvania is trying to stop people from texting and driving after she became a victim in a distracted driving crash.  After spending years responding to distracted driving calls a man who was texting and driving pulled out in front of her ending her career as an EMT.

She then started a non-profit called “Hands Free America Inc” with the message ‘distracted driving kills’.

“When you sign up to drive, you should really be responsible of your phone. If you can’t put that away, then you can’t have your license,” said Cheyenne.

Currently, the penalty is only a $50 fine in the state.  Another reason to #DropItAndDrive with Subaru of London and JACK 1023.
