London police have found their man.
The Police Services Board has announced Steve Williams will become the new Chief of London Police effective June 19th.
Williams is a 27 year member of the London force and has served in a number of positions including major crimes, professional standards and human resources and has held leadership rolls across the services. He is currently the Deputy Chief of Operations. He has also been awarded a number of commendations for drug and homicide investigations.
A Change of Command ceremony will be held June 19th, details of which are forthcoming.
