1. Harris Park is feeling the blues…

The Gateway Casinos London Bluesfest is back August 23 – 26 in Harris Park featuring performances from The Sheepdogs, Colin James, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult and many more! For ticket information click here.

2. The enemy is in sight at Fanshawe Pioneer Village!

This Saturday and Sunday the popular War of 1812 reenactment will be taking place at the Fanshawe Pioneer Village with Fanshawe 1812: Enemy in Sight! The event will be taking place from 10:00am – 4:30pm both days.

$9.00 per Adult- tax included
$7.00 per Child ages 4-16- tax included
Free for children age 3 and under

3. Free family fun at the Bostwick Community BBQ!

The newest Bostwick Community Centre, YMCA and London Public Library is coming to #LdnOnt and to celebrate, there will be a Community BBQ this Saturday for FREE! Enjoy some tasty treats, fun games and even get a sneak peak at the newest facility and everything it has to offer!

4. Let’s taco ’bout it…

The second annual London Taco Fest is making it’s way to the Budweiser Gardens parking lot this Saturday from 1:30pm – 11:30pm. Featuring authentic Mexican dishes (like tacos), cokctails, music and a lucha libre show in the evening!

Price: $10 plus fees – $2.50 for each ticket sold will be donated to the Mental Health Association Middlesex.

5. Experience some fine art in Kiwanis Park

Kiwanis Park here in #LdnOnt will be showing it’s artsy side with Argyle Art in the Park happening this Saturday from 11am – 4pm! With all of the different kinds of crafts and entertainment, there’s a little something for everyone!

6. Colouring and kittens in one event?!

The Hutton House will be hosting Colouring with Kittens this Saturday in support of Art 4 Animals so if you love to draw and you love kittys than this is right up your alley! You can feel free to bring your pillows, blankets and as we colouring will be taking place on the floor with the kittens as they venture around. (D’awe)
