A warning has been posted on the Government of Canada’s website warning of recall concerning breaded chicken burgers.   Health Canada is warning Canadians that frozen breaded chicken products containing raw poultry pose an increased risk to individuals preparing this food, and are advising Canadians to follow food safety practices while doing so after a widespread recall of No Name brand breaded chicken burgers in early June.

The public health agency initially reported that there were 59 cases of salmonella-linked illness across eight provinces between March and May. That number has been updated to 68 to reflect the new cases.
