It’s an event that every Londoner looks forward to: The Western Fair! 

From food, to rides, to entertainment and more, the fair is the place to be this September…and for the second year, they are looking for the ‘Face of the Fair”…and they want YOU!

From June 11-July 4, submit a photo of yourself at the annual Western Fair! It could be from when you were a kid, a teen, adult, with your own kids or grand kids! Whatever you were doing at the fair, submit your photo and, if you’re one of the 8 lucky winners, you not only win VIP passes for 4, but you could find your face on a billboard, online ads, the newspaper, on the Western Fair Facebook cover photo and more!

Plus, everyone who submits a photo is entered to win a $1,000 CAD grand prize and fair VIP pass! Western Fair staff will select 7 of the winners and the 8th will be selected People’s Choice!

Submit your photo by July 4th to be considered to be the Face of the Fair!

How to Win!
There are four easy ways for you to submit:

  1. Submit your photo to the Western Fair contest page on Facebook to be considered for the People’s choice slot. Fair fans will be able to vote on their favourite photos and you will be able to share your photo to your Facebook friends to encourage voting!
  2. Post your photo on your Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and use the hashtag #faceofwesternfair
  3. Submit your photo (or scan of your photo) via email to jmacdonald@westernfairdistrict.com
  4. Mail your photo to:

Tips to Win! 

  1. Include a short description! – Tell us a little about your photo eg. Where, who, what is happening, description of your Fair memory!
  2. Submit multiple photos!
  3. Submit a photo with as high of resolution as possible!
  4. Submit via our Facebook contest page to be eligible for the People’s Choice submission!
  5. Start Early – Submit early and begin sharing your submission with others. You may get a head start and begin collecting votes before the official voting stage.
  6. It’s a group effort – Share your photo entry with your friends! Build a group to help your submission go viral!
  7. Share it! – Let your social network on Facebook, Twitter or through email know about your participation. You can share your post with the “share” tab located at the bottom of your post.

Rules
The photo submitted must be owned by you. No purchase necessary. 1 vote allowed per IP address per day. Voting from a proxy server, multiple computers, etc. is strictly prohibited and will be monitored by Western Fair District digital marketing team. If a contestant is suspected of violating this rule or any form of“gaming” the contest, they will be removed from this contest without warning. We want a fair contest for all. The official time standard for the contest is Eastern Standard Time (Toronto time). For an entry to be eligible, it must be posted by 11:59pm on July 4th, 2017. Votes will be allowed up until 11:59pm on July 4th, 2017 The Top finalist with the highest votes at 11:59pm on July 4th, 2017 will be selected as one of the eight winners. The other seven winners will be determined by Western Fair District staff. WesternFair District reserves the right to remove any entries we feel are inappropriate in nature.
