Mike Teevee appears on Jeopardy...kind of

On every episode of the long running TV game show Jeopardy people have a chance to tell Alex Trebek something interesting about themselves.

One contestant this week chose to hold back a major tidbit…

Paris Themmen who played Mike Tee Vee in the classic 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory was on Jeopardy and it looked like he decided not to say anything except that he was an “avid backpacker” and that he’s traveled to 61 countries and six continents.

Eagle eyed viewers caught it right away.

Why didn’t he mention he was in the movie willy wonka?  Apparently it was one of Paris’s 3 fun facts that the host could choose from and Alex chose the backpacking fact…
